Range Rover: Everything You Need To Know

The new Mark 5 Range Rover was Revealed in late September, and boy has this creature of a vehicle blown us away!
This new Range Rover does not only give a new meaning to sleek and sexy but is also bringing us eco-friendly vibes.

Going fully electric with a 4×4 version, this hybrid brings owners a peaceful and silent journey in early Spring 2022.
This vehicle has already proven to be the most influential of its time. Now, only to be taken a step further.

With its timeless luxury interior, the new Range Rover will be lining up white-collar buyers.

What You Need To Know

The new 2022 Range Rover is a redesigned model featuring the most desired luxury vehicle in the Flagship model and replacing the Ford engine with BMW’s 4.4-liter V8.

The new luxury model comes with a redesign from the bottom up and features new tech and even more luxurious touches.

Landrover has not yet released a compiled list of all the new features. However, we know that it will be offered in both short and long-wheelbase body styles depending on the room space and style you prefer!

Features:

● You can expect new and rather handsome features with a fully redesigned look but still, obtain the sought-after “Range Rover” look.

● The new boot now has a divider that easily folds up from the floor, creating a barrier and preventing smaller luggage from falling around – incorporated are various security straps. In contrast, you will be able to order “Event Seating”, where two fold-up chairs are featured in the boot.

● The long-wheelbase form stretches a magnificent 200mm between the front and rear axles, which provides you with a generous amount of legroom.

Have a large family? Not a problem! Both the long and short wheelbase forms come in a three-person rear bench. Alternatively, you can go for the individual adjustable rear seats!

The long-wheelbase provides you with a seven-seater vehicle, and this is the first time this has been featured in Range Rover.

● The material quality is rather impressive and is made out of wood, leather or metal, and is used for almost every feature of the vehicle.

Vegan options are available if that is what you desire, in which the three mentioned material is swapped with premium textiles but will cost you a hefty fee!

● The center console also looks identical to the Jaguar F-Pace, but we aren’t complaining. The touchscreen stays the same and still offers you Amazon Alexa voice control and wireless smartphone mirroring.

● You can now further customize your vehicle by swapping out the standard internal knobs and replacing them with ceramic ones.

● Range Rover takes a big step toward refinement and promises a 24% reduced noise transmission into the car. This is made possible by an improved noise cancellation system, five times better than the previous Range Rover.

● Not long after the 2022 version is released, it will be accompanied by a 434bhp and 503bhp plug-in hybrid.

This will combine the 3.0-liter petrol engine with an electric motor and a 38.2kWh battery. Resulting in up to 64 miles of zero-emission while the car is running, and your recharge will take around 60 minutes – that is rather impressive.

● In 2024 the fully electric version will be revealed, but this information has not been brought forward yet.

The Top 5 Things You Must Know About the New Range Rover:

  1. Optional Third Row Seat:

Mentioned before, but so impressive it deserves to be mentioned again.

The 2022 Range Rover has an optional seven-seater – which is being compared to the top SUVs out there.

They have certainly upped the luxury factor by creating adjustable backseats which are electric-powered, and if you don’t require that much space, you can opt for the sleek and sexy four-seat configuration.

  1.  Clean and Sleek Design:

The new 2022 Range Rover comes in an immaculate clutter-free look, providing you with the utmost elegance.

No unnecessary trim to the body is added, and there isn’t a “too large for life” grill attached to the car.

Everything was kept simple yet made with the best materials and designed to perfection.

  1. 35 Speaker Sound System:

The new Range Rover comes with a 25 speaking sounds system, busting out an amazing 1600watt of power. Not only does this allow for pure quality sound, but their perfected noise cancellation interior system amplifies this.

  1. Night Lighting:

A safety feature added is better night lighting, allowing drivers to have unique maneuvering lights when night driving. When you are driving at low speeds, the light is illuminated, which will enable you to park or move through a tight squeeze with ease.

The night lighting system works in conjunction with the 36o degree camera system.

  1. Power-Assisted Doors:

The new Range Rover comes with power-assisted doors, and if that doesn’t scream luxury to you, nothing will.

Although this feature will only become available in the 2023 version, it will provide hazard protection, meaning doors won’t open if something (Or someone) is in the way.

The doors will also be power-assisted, meaning they can be controlled from the touchscreen at the center console.

If you drive off-road, there is no need to worry. This fantastic feature will work wherever you are driving.
